If you’re ready to grab a new smartphone to replace your old one, you might want to consider the Google Pixel 8. One of Google’s flagship phones, this 2023 release proved that Google is still a formidable name in the smartphone space, and as such it’s well worth opting for over even an iPhone or Samsung device. Right now, it’s even more worthwhile, as it’s on sale for the lowest price we’ve seen.

As of March 12, you can get the Google Pixel 8 for $539.99 at Woot!. That’s $160 off its normal price of $699.99 and a savings of 23%. This price is for a new, unlocked model in the Obsidian colorway.

As Alex Perry mentioned in his Mashable review, this phone is an “excellent” Android handset, and “among the best you can buy.” With a higher refresh rate, better chipset, and upgraded cameras, it’s a considerable step up from the Pixel 7.

It boasts the powerful Google Tensor G3 chip with interesting new Google AI capabilities for photo and video editing and a range of other options. Plus, its 6.2-inch Actua display offers crisp colors and responsive browsing and scrolling.

One of its most useful features by far is its Adaptive Battery, which can last you over 24 hours in a pinch. When you turn on Extreme Battery Saver, it can even last up to 72 hours to make sure you have power in situations where charging just won’t be an option for a while – though it does charge up super quickly when you need it to.

If you’re in the market for a new phone with plenty of bells and whistles, this Pixel model is worth the entry fee, especially at this deep of a discount.
