Podcaster Tara Palmeri called out high-profile Trump supporter Lindi Li with an instant fact-check when Li conflated verbal abuse from online trolls with remarks by people like former DNC Chairman Jaime Harrison and “tons” of people connected with the campaigns of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
Formerly the DNC Mid-Atlantic Regional Chair and a Harris surrogate during the 2024 presidential election, Li did an about-face after Trump won and is now a full-on supporter and self-identified conservative. But many, including MAGA supporters, have called BS on Li, questioning her conversion and her claims of high-level influence in the defunct Biden-Harris campaigns.
Li has been making the rounds since her conversion and made a disastrous stop this week on an episode of The Tara Palmeri Show, hosted by journalist and former White House correspondent Tara Palmeri. The host set the table for the interview with a highly skeptical Substack post that details the preparations for the interview.
In one of many memorable exchanges, Palmeri drilled down when Li alleged that people from the DNC used slurs against her, asking if they were “people that are associated with the campaigns.”
Li claimed she suffered abuse from Harrison, so Palmeri Googled while she continued to grill Li, and found a markedly less incendiary barb:

LINDY LI: Again, I dispute that. It wasn’t rapid. I’ve been a conservative Democrat for years.
TARA PALMERI: You went from being on the campaign to then calling the DNC a cult. Like, you gotta have to explain to people why they should trust you and your book. It’s a really-
LINDY LI: i’ve explained again and again in every interview. It was so hard to leave because it is a cult. I voiced concerns about the Harris campaign and the spending and they excommunicated me for it.
They called me a s*** all day long you can read my replies, they’re still doing that–.
TARA PALMERI: You have that in text messages? Like, who’s saying that?
LINDY LI: Just- just search Lindy Li and the s*** and then c*** and whatever like, “she should be deported.”
TARA PALMERI: These are people that are associated with the campaigns or the…?
LINDY LI: Tons of them. Tons of them. Influencers who are associated with the campaign. “She should be deported”.
Like you’ve probably seen the mass cancelation campaigns.
TARA PALMERI: I didn’t see them against you. I haven’t really been paying that close attention, but are they working, are they officials? That’s the thing.
LINDY LI: Yeah, Jaime Harrison. Yeah, Jaime Harrison repeatedly called me names. The chair of the party, all sorts of things.
TARA PALMERI: On the record or on background?
LINDY LI: On his, no, on his X account.
TARA PALMERI: Oh, let me see what he said. I didn’t know that.
