Fox News host Harris Faulkner slammed former President Joe Biden for his attack on President Donald Trump in a recent interview.
On Wednesday morning, BBC aired Biden’s sit-down interview with journalist Nick Robinson — the former president’s first interview since the start of Trump’s second term. When the topic got to his successor, Biden did not hold back on his assessment of Trump’s first 100 days. He claimed Trump was “not behaving like a Republican president” and criticized him for his plans to annex Greenland, the Panama Canal and Canada.
“What the hell’s going on here?” Biden said. “What president ever talks like that? That’s not who we are.”
Hours later, Faulkner claimed Biden’s display was proof that “the American people got this right” in reference to electing Trump.
“I had two immediate thoughts when I started watching parts of this interview,” Faulkner said on Outnumbered. “One was the American people. Thank you. You got it right. Can you imagine him [as] president now? He couldn’t even get through that interview! At one point, he took such a long pause [that] I thought he was asleep. I’m not kidding. We shared a look, [Kayleigh McEnany]. We looked across the couch. What’s going on with this guy? The American people got this right. It should not have been him.
“The other thought was: how angry is he about all these books that keep dropping with people saying how bad he was behind the scenes as much as two years ago? I mean, I guess that’s what has you doing a press junket that doesn’t look like it’s junket. Like, I don’t know how he does more than one of these. You said the next one is on The View. Normally, these are staccato and you’re taking on what people have said. Can you imagine him taking on real-time quotes from the books? I don’t see it. I mean, this is stressful for him.”
